Are shipments insured?
We cannot guarantee that every order will be insured. You may request insurance by sending an email to info@garyswine.com.
Can I expedite my shipment?
Yes, you can! Please select the appropriate fulfillment method at check out depending on your transit day preference. While our default shipping method is standard ground shipping, we also offer 2-day express delivery and overnight delivery for an additional fee. Note that processing days are not factored into the transit days. Therefore, if your order is time-sensitive, it is best to email us at info@garyswine.com to ensure your order arrives on time.
What is your summer shipping policy?
Gary's Wine & Marketplace is committed to ensuring that our customers receive a quality product; this is of the utmost importance to us. With regards to wine, excessive exposure to heat can seriously damage the quality of the wine, a particular concern during the hot summer months. As such, please note that any orders placed online may be held temporarily due to high temperatures:

We have the option for you to choose whether you prefer to ship immediately or hold the order with regards to the weather. This option is located on the shopping cart page when placing an order and was are happy to accommodate either way.

We will hold the order in our temperature-controlled storage facility at no additional cost for up to 90 days. After 90 days, we will ship the wines to your address provided, or additional storage fees may apply.
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
All packages containing alcohol must be signed for by an adult over the age of 21.
Many customers choose to have their order sent to their work address so that an adult is present to sign for it. If an order is sent to a home address and an adult is not present, FedEx will try to deliver twice more on consecutive business days. FedEx will furnish their telephone number on the door tags they leave so that the recipient can call to arrange to pick up of their package at the local FedEx facility if they like. FedEx will hold packages for five days if a recipient tells them that they are coming to pick up their package. If the recipient does not contact FedEx, or if the package is not picked up within the five-day window, FedEx will return the package to us. Additional shipping fees will apply for any package that is required to be reshipped.
How can I track my order?
The Order Fulfillment email will contain your third party carrier tracking number. However, for certain states, tracking information is provided after you are notified that the product has shipped. For these states, tracking information may be provided up to two business days after your order has shipped depending on third-party carrier processing timelines, which vary based on order volume. All wine, beer and spirits purchased from Gary’s Wine & Marketplace are sold at its licensed premises in the State of New Jersey or California, where title passes to the buyer. The purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from New Jersey or California to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine (not beer or spirits) via common carrier, Gary’s Wine & Marketplace is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. The purchaser will be billed for this service. By utilizing this service from Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.
